The model of car chosen, the Xsara C4 Citroën Picasso, is relevant because it is a model made in Vigo which incorporates, indeed, an element that broadens its meaning. If Duchamp’s urinal included the signature of R. Mutt — a non-existent artist, fruit of Duchamp’s imagination and his taste for word games— the Xsara C4 Picasso contains that of another unquestionable artist of the XX century. The signature becomes the leitmotiv of a Project that also invites us to reflect on the re-contextualisation of the work and of the artist, from Duchamp to Picasso, in the surroundings ofcontemporary, industrial Vigo.
